Early Lengthening for Congenital PosteroMedial Bowing of Tibia

CPMBT or Congenital Postero Medial Bowing of Tibia is a rare condition in which children present at birth with a severe deformity. The deformity gradually resolves but shortening slowly and surely increases. Our experience leads us to believe that early lengthening has a lot of benefits. We have one of the largest experiences in the world in the treatment of this condition.

Clubfoot correction in older children and young adults

Older children and adults need a modified Ponseti protocol.casting may sometimes achieve full correction. casting may be combined with soft tissue releases or a minimum duration ilizarov fixator for equinus correction. if the clubfoot is previously operated upon then the Ilizarov fixator can faithfully recreate the Ponseti protocol to achieve full correction and achieve a plantigrade and painless foot.

Extensive Limb Lengthening for increase of height in Dwarfs

Over the last 29 years our center has performed dozens of surgeries to increase height in Achondroplastic Dwarf patients by extensive lengthening using Ilizarov and newer methods. A poster presentation of this experience in the Indian Orthopaedic Association annual conference in 2017 won the Gold Medal for the best Poster.
